She was not teething!

After a few days of relatively high fever (it went to 104.2 one night), she developped a rash on her boddy. Blood and urine test came back negative.
The rash (could have been Roseola?) was gone in 2 days and she is again in a very good mood.

Natalie a eu 39-40 de fievre pendant 3 jours et au 4e jour la roseole s'est declaree. Le Dr. avait fait les tests d'urine et de sang et tout etait ok. elle est bien remise et est en pleine forme

Rachel's social behavior

Rachel got a few good stickers these last few days and announced yesterday that she was not pushing and hurting people anymore (that after a discussion with Liddy, her good friend at the daycare).
Last week, she told me that Tiffany bit her on the leg (I could see the marks) but I learned as well that it was in self defense, Rachel had pushed her.

Rachel ne pousse plus et ne tape plus ses camarades - ouf!

2 more teeth?

Natalie is teething and should have her front teeth quite soon. She had 103.5 at daycare in the afternoon. It went down to 102.3 in the evening and jumped to -102.8 in the night. This morning, it went down to 101.2 (37.5C). She nursed every two hours and was in a great mood. I fed her her some cereals this morning before I took her to the daycare, she was fine.

She is 9 month today. Tomorrow she'll have her vaccinations.

Bisou

This morning I dropped the girls off, Yossi does it normally. Yossi helped me to put Natalie in the car and I kissed goodbye. Rachel asked me "why do you kiss papa"? I told her that papa also gets a kiss when I leave/come home. Rachel is very affectionate and says I love you and gives those "huge" kisses (one on each cheek) but this morning papa did not get one.

She does not call me "maman" anymore but switched to mom and recently to "mommy". I guess that's what she hears from the other kids @daycare.
Other expressions coming from the daycare: Oh man (not too thrilled about this one), I am so upset.

Once in a while, she says that she is a baby and wants special attention.

This morning she wanted "2 queues" (pony tails) like Tifany (other girls her age at the daycare).

Bottle strike @new daycare -Greve du biberon

Natalie is now with her sister at the same daycare @Isabelle. and Rachel is very protective of her sister.
The first week was tough for Natalie, she simply refused her milk. We now drinks her milk alone either from the sippy cup or the 4 oz plastic bottle. She now drinks 6 oz during the day but loves to eat solid food , she is a very good eater and not a messy one.
She still nurses in the morning and in the evening.
She is a very funny baby who laughs a lot and is very alert. She loves to play with her sister and pulls on her hair.
