Natlie a un an aujourd'hui

My godness time flew. I just read Vickie's e-mail about Luna being 2 months about the time , it was so fast and so slow. I can relate to that too.
I tried very hard to capture every special moment and store them in a special place in my heart like I did with Rachel.
A year ago, Natalie was borned at 8.30am at Sibly. I enjoyed my first days at the hospital with her, being very proud of the nursing. I was happy to see how much Rachel warmed up to her sister. I was relieved when she started sleeping through the night at 10 weeks (2 weeks later than her sister did). I was not so thrilled when she got her first tooth at 6 month (6 months earlier than Rachel did). I was worried when you started showing some signs of allergies.
And now a year later, you are a healthy, smily and happy little girl. You play with your sister and we are so blessed to have you in our family.

un dimanche bien occupee/A busy Sunday

hier nous avons eu de la visite pour un brunch a la maison: Ania avec ses 2 enfants et Kathleen Cerami. Yossi a fait l'omelette du dimanche et on s'est mis a table avec de la bonne baguette et du fromage.
Les filles n'ont pas fait de sieste le matin et l'apres-midi je les ai enmene chez une amie ou toutes les mamans du groupe se sont retrouvees avec leurs enfants: Ellen, notre hote avec ses 2 filles, Elaine +2 garcons, Laurie +2 filles, Helen + 1 fille et un bebe, and Therese avec son garcon. Les enfants ont joue dans le parc et a la maison Elaine leur a fait faire un collage. Rachel et Natalie ont dormi dans la voiture a l'aller comme au retour (1/2 heure de route). Nous sommes rentres a la maison a 6h 30, a temps pour le souper et le bain.

We had a great day yesterday.
We had friends over for brunch and the girls had fun playing, running around, being carried and given a lot of extra attention. In the afternoon, Ellen hosted the group of moms and their kids (we were 6 moms, 3 dads, 6 toddlers, and 5 babies). THANK YOU Ellen for hosting such a big group. We had a lot of fun and a special thank you to Esther and Ruthie for sharing all their toys.

St. Nicholas a la delegation

On a fete St. Nicholas au travail et Natalie et Rachel ont recu leur cadeau de St. Nicholas. Rachel fut fascinee par le magicien. Ell a aussi beaucoup apprecie les crepes et le jus de pommes.
We celebrated St. Nicholas at work and the girls got presents from him.

Rachel n'a pas arrete de parler de son anniversaire, du gateau qu'elle allait manger avec nous et sa soeur, des bougies qu'elle allait souffler, ...

Rachel has been talking about her birthday, the cake, the candles, ... non-stop this week. It finally happened last Sunday, she entered her 3rd year.
