nouvelle coupe de cheveux/ before and after pictures

here is the picture I took right afterwards.
When I asked her why she did cut her hair, she told me she wanted to look like Natalie.
I always thought that little girls wanted to look like their older sister but I never thought that the opposite could be true.
We spent a lot of time snuggling on Sunday.

Rachel est entrain de couper des petits morceaux de papier tranquillement a la salle a manger... et Yossi lit un livre au salon. Le temps de m'absenter pour aller chercher Natalie, et qu'elle ne fut pas ma surprise. Rachel avait tout simplement coupe ses cheveux.
Quand je lui ai demande pourquoi, elle m'a dit qu'elle voulait etre comme Natalie.
Apres le 1er choc, je dois dire que ce n'est pas trop mal et que ca aurait pu etre bien pire.

Maman: you have such beautiful curly hair Rachel
and we left it there
Later on Rachel was playing in the living room cutting paper into small pieces, Yossi was reading in the living room, and I went to pick up Natalie in the bedroom. When I came back, we got quite a surprise. Rachel had cut her hair!!!
After the first shock (I cried), I have to admit that she did quite a decent job and that it could have been much worse.

Christmas, New Year

After having Hannukah at home with homemade latkes, we celebrated Christmas Eve at Evelyne's and Moe's and their children Jonathan (7) and Leora (4), did go to Sasha's and Natasha's and children Moshe (5) and David (2) on Sabat on December 25th and went to Tony's and Susan's on New Year's Eve with their son Jake (4). We all had a great time and for once I did not have to cook - what a treat! The kids had so much fun and stayed way behind their bed time playing and running around.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all.
No resolution, just another good year with the children.

Nous avons tout celebre cette annee: hannukah a la maison et les reveillons de Noel chez Evelyne et Moe, et de nouvel an chez Tony et Susan. Pour une fois je n'ai pas du cuisiner. Les enfants ont bien reveillones et etaient les derniers a vouloir repartir.

Question sante 2009 ne fut pas trop bon: maman a fait une trombose en novembre et 2010 ne s'avere guere meilleur: la leucemie de papa gagne du terrain et le nombre de ses globules diminue beaucoup trop vite...
