- the other dogs found them and barked to let them know where they were
I used to read books at night before they go to bed but in the last few weeks, things have changed. Rachel now wants to read to us. She remembers some of the story and the rest she makes it up, it is so adorable to sit there and listen to her.
She shows us the book and asks if we have questions and we have to raise our hands if we have questions regarding the page she just showed us. Priceless, I love it

Elizabeth does the same! SO cute, btu it can take a Looong time with each book. Also, she's a little bit strict with the handraising and calling on us!
This is so wonderful. David reads to Ari sometimes too. So cute. For what its worth, it is also a very important step in their "literacy development". The idea that they can read in the same way you can (whether they can actually read or not) is a great milestone.
Love it!
Ditto what Susan said. We've got this going on too - it's super cute- and bedtime takes a bit longer :)
